Uri`s Chamber Symphony is scheduled to be performed by the Tel-Aviv soloists orcherstra under maestro Barak Tal in the upcoming season. Last time the piece was performed by the very same orchestra some six years ago, it was awarded the ACUM Prize and the orchestra won the prestigious Landau award for the best performance of the Israeli composer`s work. The perfromance will take place at the Israeli Conservatory Hall Louis Marshall 25, Tel-Aviv, 8:30 PM. For more info please go HERE  

Uri’s piece "Northern Wind" for harp solo is among six finalists at the The Composition Contest for the USA International Harp Competition (USAIHC). It was chosen from 90 works submitted by composers from 33 countries. It will be performed during the Composition Forum at the 11th USA International Harp Competition in Bloomington, Indiana, on July 8, 2019 at 7pm in Auer Hall.  

      The new 2018-9 season of the world famous Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) under the great maestro Zubin Mehta was opened with Uri`s symphonic poem The Prophet, featuring big symphonic orchestra, solo piano and mixed choir. The piece was performed with a great success in six concerts around the country. It is worth mentioning, that the piece was composed when composer was 14 years old and was then revisited some 25 years later, adding a choir part and elaborating the score.

Uri will be joining the performance of the Carlo Menotti`s opera “Medium” as an accompanying pianist at the Opera Exam Festival Budapest which will take place at the Ferenz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, Hungary.

Bet Shemesh Eshkol Hapais Hall, Tuesday, the 30 January Uri will join two soloists from the Israel Philharmonic Orchastra Evgeny & Polina Yehudin in a special program dedicated to 20th cetury composers including Bartok, Piazzola and Khachaturian. The Jewish Suite by Uri Brener will be premiered as well.
